They are looking for help to come out from their damaged by their own choices or their circumstances or spiritual difficulty. If you have a heart of compassion to others, you are the one God looking for.
This is a wonderful privilege that you are to be a pipeline of God’s love to those in need. In Christian counseling should always be leading those we care for towards God, and direct their trust to heavenly Father. God created human as body, soul and spirit. Christian counseling is concerned with the spirit and soul which includes feelings, thoughts and decision. The scripture said; “I pray that all goes well for you. I hope that you are as strong in body, as I know you are in spirit-3 John 1:2. And the God of peace himself sanctify you wholly; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved entire, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ-1 Thessalonica 5:23“.
